04.14.11 | what does entry level even mean? solid foundation man, but inserting personal bias for a sec i gotta say it needs more radiohead |
aokuneff
04.14.11 | and i'd say 2 / 10 are me |
SloppyMilkshake
04.14.11 | 8/10 of these rule
The other two I've never heard. |
aokuneff
04.14.11 | which 2? |
SloppyMilkshake
04.14.11 | The Tricky album and Future Sound of London. Though I do have Tricky's on my computer. And well, the new Panda Bear might not "rule" as hard as the others, but it's still pretty good. |

04.14.11 | thas hilarious, those are the 2 i sent his way. i actually like maxinquaye better than dummy -- i think it really puts into perspective what was happening in bristol in the early 90s. future sound of london is just something else. i'll leave it at that. |
SloppyMilkshake
04.14.11 | Listening to Future Sounds of London now...
Well...
Right after a few tracks off of Geogaddi... |
aokuneff
04.14.11 | thas a lot of dots. lemme guess.
i'm listening to future sounds of london right now and not much is really happening. i'm a little confused because well, it comes so highly recommended. Right after a few tracks off of Geogaddi, this is clearly an album that is nothing at all like Geogaddi |
SloppyMilkshake
04.14.11 | Well, I just listened to "Omnipresence". It was pretty awesome. I like how it smoothly transitions from ambiance to something dancey. And a lot of the sound effects (theremin and otherwise) remind me of "An Electric Storm". |

04.14.11 | i dunno, lifeforms conveys so much to me so clearly about this weird universe full of distorted faces and algae. lots of algae. hard to elaborate |
SloppyMilkshake
04.14.11 | I'll definitely download and listen to the album then. |
Spare
04.14.11 | anyone who doesn't have lifeforms should get lifeforms and if they don't like it listen to it until they do |
darnielle
04.14.11 | Fantastic list. 6 is definitely in tune with most of these too |
Polymath
04.14.11 | Well Andy, I do absolutely love Radiohead, but I've been focusing on these 10 albums lately. Everyone needs Lifeforms, It's an album you experience as a whole not by each single song. |
