Keyblade 04.22.11	Agalloch isn't really black metal though, and it's extremely difficult to find a band similar to them. That being said, I would recommend Enslaved's Axioma Ethica Odini, and Wolves in the Throne Room's Two Hunters.
Hawks 04.22.11	I didn't even see where you asked for recs similar to Agalloch. A lot of what I gave you isn't really similar to them. The first 11 albums I gave you are just essentials. October Falls and Drudkh are pretty much the only ones I gave you that could be considered anything similar to Agalloch's sound.

Itwasthatwas 04.22.11	yeah ashes against the grain isn't realy a black metal record, if you want something like that you're better off looking at post-metal or some progressive stuff that gallowbraid record that was rec'd above does sound sort of like agalloch but it's not very good, even the guy who wrote it doesn't like it anymore
