|New Vinyl And Tix|
1-3 are vinyl are just ordered home online, 5-14 are bands I'm (hopefully) seeing from September-December. 4 is what I'm probably buying in a store tomorrow.
|1||The Wonder Years|
The Greatest Generation
Amazing album. I wish they'd come to Copenhagen (hell, just Denmark or Sweden).
Such a beautiful and fragile album. She should come to Denmark as well.
These chicks are so damn cool. I know they don't seem very popular around here, but damn. Oh, and they rule hard live.
I saw them live for the second time, this summer. They seemed to have grown up a lot (looking at your haircut, Turner), and were so great live. This album lived up to that performance.
|5|| ||The Story So Far|
What You Don't See
Just bought my ticket to see these guys in a small club. Should be intense as hell!
Seeing these Norwegians for the second time. The first time was a hell of a blast, don't miss them if you get the chance.
|7||The Dillinger Escape Plan|
One of Us is the Killer
My first Dillinger-concert (seeing as they cancelled their performance at the Roskilde Festival). I've heard they're unbelievable live, and their latest album is ace.
This one isn't for sure. I've seen Biffy live four times before, and they always put on a great show. But apparently, their popularity has hit the state of Denmark, and the ticket-prices have gone up, up, up!
The Living Infinite
I don't know much of their back-catalogue but the latest release, but this should be fun!
The National is one of the best live bands out there today, no doubt. This third time of mine will hopefully be as enjoyable as earlier (although my first time seeing them live is prob in my top 5 concerts ever).
This one isn't for sure either. My cousin asked me if I'd go with him, and I'm really considering going after getting to like "Doolittle" so much.
|12|| ||The Tallest Man on Earth|
There's No Leaving Now
I missed him the last time he was in Denmark, but this time I got my ticket for Kristian Mattson!
The Midnight Organ Fight
They always put on an amazing show, and this will be my first concert with them as a headliner.
Discovering the Waterfront
This final concert-ticket isn't bought either. I used to jam this album constantly when I was 14 or something, and never got to see them live. I really consider it this time around - besides, I hear their new album is pretty good.
|Black Sabbath, Queens of the Stone Age, MGMT, and more are also playing, but ticket-prices vs. money...
Damn, I edited this list once, and now two of the albums are missing their pic.|
|Gonna be a great few months for you.
Seen Arctic Monkeys and Frightened Rabbit live, both were good. FR were prob better though tbh.
Seeing The National is Feb, can't wait. |
|Yeah, I'd say that FR is better than AM as well. They're just so... grandiose live. But the National takes the cake, you'll see ;)|
|Yeah FR were really good, awesome band. So jealous you get to see Tallest Man and Pixies as well.|
I absolutely cannot wait.
|TTMoE is great live, seen him once before, but that was very much from afar. This time, it'll hopefully be up close! Dunno about Pixies, I hear they're great.|
|damn, pixies, ntnl and biffy and dillinger|
|Doolittle is probably the coolest album of all time.|
|Just ordered Brand New's "The Devil and God are Raging Inside Me" on clear vinyl as well. Hell yeah!|
