10.29.14 Favorite Hip-hop Albums11.11.13 Albums On Repeat

Favorite Hip-hop Albums

Just a list of my favorite Hip-Hop albums, simple as that.
The Eminem Show

This album to me, is perfect. Some people might not like the lack of Slim Shady this album has on
it, but I think the maturity in a lot of the tracks is why it's so good.
2Big L
Lifestylez Ov Da Poor & Dangerous

The master punchline artist. Another perfect album.
3Eyedea & Abilities
By The Throat

Eyedea was, in my opinion, one of the best Hip-Hop lyricists ever, and is definitely my
favorite. The nuances of rock in this record make it really heavy and gritty.

What's there to be said? The magnum opus of Hip-Hop veteran Nas, and arguably the most
important Hip-Hop album ever produced. Classic!
God Loves Ugly

Another one of my favorite lyricists. Pure poetry, this album.
6Organized Konfusion
Stress: The Extinction Agenda

The most unique Hip-Hop album I've ever heard. Organized Konfusion have a sound that is
incomparable to anything else. This record is just brilliant, simply put.
The Marshall Mathers LP

What kind of list would this be without MMLP?
8Eyedea & Abilities

I love how much Abilities' skills actually get put to work on this album. Lots of outstanding
sample work and scratch solos.
9Insane Clown Posse
The Great Milenko

It's not fair to chastise ICP for their retarded fans. Their old work is legitimately entertaining,
and in my opinion, this is a really great album. If you're open minded, give it a listen.
The Old Prince

If you haven't heard Shad's music, you should. Poetic, straight-laced Hip-Hop. A breath of
fresh air. Listen to "I Heard You Had A Voice Like An Angel"
