08.06.11 | Check out stuff like Carcass’ “Heartwork”, At the Gates’ “Slaughter of the Soul”, In Flames’ “The Jester Race”, Dark Tranquility’s “The Gallery”, Arch Enemy etc. These all have a sense of melody that might make them easier to get into though to be honest I would even hesitate to call a few of them “death metal” in any sense.
If you really like this melodic side then proceed to check out quality acts such as Necrophobic, Eucharist, Desultory, Hypocrisy and Unanimated.
