Neurosis Ranked
1Neurosis
Times of Grace

The quintessential Neurosis album.
2Neurosis
Through Silver In Blood

This album seems like an offering to a god of noise. It's an improvement on the ideas started in Enemy of the Sun.
3Neurosis
The Eye of Every Storm

This seems like the best of Neurosis' attempts at a quiet album. It's still pretty heavy, but it explores another side of the band.
4Neurosis
Given to the Rising

.
5Neurosis
Souls at Zero

There's a nice duality between the earlier hardcore style and some of the flourishes that would later define the band.
6Neurosis
A Sun that Never Sets

One of the weaker Albini albums, but that's not saying much.
7Neurosis
Enemy of the Sun

One of Neurosis' weaker albums, but it's still great in it's own right. The atmosphere on this album is great.
8Neurosis
Neurosis and Jarboe

There's a great chemistry here, but this is more of an interesting experiment.
9Neurosis
The Word as Law

The band seems really more like a glorified hardcore band here. Mind you, it's still not terrible. It's just competent. Nice that there's a Joy Division cover here.
10Neurosis
Pain of Mind

I really haven't listened to this one yet.
