All on a scale of great to classic.
Some great stuff here.
Now you embark on your post post-hardcore phase.
Rough chronological but on a scale of great to classic..?
You missed Dance Gavin Dance.
La Dispute! Wheres La Dispute!?
Trophy Scars will add another 3-4 years to your 'phase'.
some of these aren't really post hardcore
you seem to have trouble differentiating between good and awful music
a bunch of these have no business being grouped together at all
Like Emery and AtD-I, I mean, AtD-I has some catchy stuff but it comes no where close.
yea what does 'recent phase' mean anyway??
just started binge downloading post hardcore records over the past week but im sick of it man im done with this phase of my life
yeah this list is baffling
"you seem to have trouble differentiating between good and awful music

I don't really see any awful music here
I wish #12 would revert back to the sound of they're self-titled.
I've been to this phase too. You've got some pretty cool stuff(at the drive-in,ctts,alexisonfire) but bands such as my chemical romance and silverstein really suck
this phase only took a week?
Relationship of Command, Define The Great Line, Say Hello To Sunshine, and Diary are all great albums, but Worship and Tribute is my favorite album--inside or outside the genre--of all time.
Fuck yeah burn piano island, burn. And Touche Amore and Defeater are great too.
I don't think this list looks weird at all, I like most of these but I haven't really given Emery, MCR, The Used, Underoath and Saosin a chance.
You really had to get The Used rec'd to you?
|Hood, I actually had it in my iTunes library but I never, ever listened to it (dunno why, just never got around to it). So Tom rec'd it and I finally checked it out.
Guzzo, they're not bad now. Just not that good either.
Adabelle, they're on a scale of "great to classic", but not ordered from "great to classic".
And anybody who says any of this shit isn't post-hardcore, read the description again.|
"Thanks to TomArnoldsArmpit for rec'ing this."
I knew you'd like it! :)
cool story brah
@dimsim, I know, I've listened to they're other albums, with the exception of they're latest, but nothing has measured up to what the Self-Titled was. I was kind of hoping the would expand on they're sound, not completely turn they're back on it and go to pop-ish, MCR-type sound.
props for ATDI and Emery's "Shallow Seas". Two of my all time faves.
