let me know if this helps bruthuh.
You seem like a sum 41, green day, linkin park, limp bizkit fan. Just stick to that and you'll be alright
I am not really into folk to be honest, however I just listened to the song entirely and I enjoyed it.
I guess I listened to Sum 41 back in the day. I saw Green Day live with Jimmy Eat World in 05, they
were good. Linkin Park put out one good album, that was that. I never listened to Limp Bizkit I can't

as far as your metal taste though...disturbed and trivium kind of suck. Since you like Metallica i'd suggest trying some more thrash. Just start with Megadeth and Anthrax if you haven't heard them.
Royal Thunder - CVI
Torche - Harmonicraft
Indian Handcrafts - Civil Disobedience for Losers
Japandroids - Celebration Rock
Also here's some great albums..

@andcas, fair enough what about iron maiden :P
I cant make any suggestions for bands similar to your tastes because I absolutely despise your entire
list with the exception of 1 and 4.
saves the day
nice yeah maiden is the greatest metal band
1 rules, check out The Receiving End Of Sirens, The Dear Hunter and Brand New
+1 on The Dear Hunter and deftones.
Tool and Thrice (vheissu era) as well. they eased me into more genres that i now love.
and if you like trivium, check out Rise to Remain
Thanks for all the comments guys. I have Brand New's discography, but I haven't listened to it yet -
only the Devil And God are Raging Inside Of Me. I have obviously Rust In Peace, and an Anthrax
Greatest hits collection. Rise against also, I have a couple of their albums. I don't get the
hate? Extremely technical, I mean not Petrucci level, but I mean still challenging. At the end of
day don't we listen to music because we enjoy it? It makes us feel something? Disturbed isn't that
terrible. Are we saying this because they do not branch out, and instead make music that sounds the
same, for the last 10 years? I will pick up the Deftones stuff and check it out. Tool And Thrice
also, and of course Iron Maiden's first album.
Thanks again for posting I appreciate it.
Yeah you're stuck in a rut all right.
Nice to see the aura of superiority hasn't disappeared.
My list is inaccurate in the fact that I listen to a lot of that stuff because it is fun to play on
guitar, like the Disturbed album, and the BB one also. I probably spend most of my time listening to
John Mayer, JEW, Damien Rice, Matt Nathanson, etc. with some metal on side.
Is the definition of bad=rather popular? I am not understanding.
I also started listening last year to Arrows & Anchors (Fair To Midland) last year. To be honest I guess I named this list what it is because it isn't that I don't like the new music I find, I just don't feel the same instant gratification you feel while listening to something that you are used to and like. It's hard to explain and be objective towards myself, however I am trying.
