I'm going through my notes on Facebook deleting them all rfor a number of reasons. It's taking me a while because I rhad 303 notes, but I've stumbled on a few that I just can't rbring myself to. This one was called #131 - Kimm's Musics* r(You think the dash is annoying?!) I am re-evaluating this rlist I made over a year ago via Facebook.
|1||August Burns Red|
"For when I need hope." Yep, still conveys a great message of hope. I will always love this song.
|2||As I Lay Dying|
Meaning In Tragedy
"For when I'm re-evaluating." Not so much.
|3||Three Days Grace|
"For when I'm really angry and frustrated with fighting." Ha, story of my life. This one will never get
old. Had a few plays this weekend.
"For when I'm sick of listening to "Home"." It's true, I listened to it A LOT.
"For when I'm walking like I'm on a mission." That's what they used to say at work...that I always
walk like I'm on a mission. I do walk at a fairly fast pace most of the time and I try to walk with my
music so this was a good song for that. I still enjoy it, but don't listen to it very often. It's nothing
that blows my mind.
|6||Life In Your Way|
"For when I need encouragement." I guess that still applies, but the song has different memories
that I associate it with now.
"For when I miss you guys." Yeah, I pretty much cut ties with everyone from my old school after
switching to a new one for the remainder of high school. I have mixed feelings about leaving that
One Good Reason
"For when I feel pressured." Heck yes.
"For when I know I messed up bad." I'm not into Simple Plan now as much as I used to be, but
this song is still good. I don't listen to it in the same context anymore though, I guess now it's a
spiteful interpretation...probably not healthy, but it's one way to vent without involving other people.
If We Are The Body
"For when I feel like I'm not doing enough." No longer in the context of just myself, but of my
whole church. I wish there was more that we could do to make Christ's invisible reign in Heaven
visible on Earth.
Dance Floor Anthem
"For when I reiterate to myself that being single is not that bad." That was before ever having a
serious relationship so yeah, I think a lot differently now. I don't want a boyfriend just for the sake
of having one, but when someone you love lets go of you, it really hurts. Duh.
The Ponytail Parades
"For when I feel like you don't care." I wasted way too much on a guy that wasn't worth it.
|13||Protest The Hero|
Turn Soonest to the Sea
"For when I feel like hating on guys." Really? I ruined such a good song. I don't really hate on
guys anymore anyways...they're confusing but I've come to accept that they just operate differently.
"For when I feel lost." Again, it's not so much about me anymore as it is about others.
Tears of the Saints
"For when I wish there was more I could do." Sounds a lot like what I said for number ten, but
they're completely different answers. This one will be relevant until the day I die.
|16||Brave Saint Saturn|
"For when I need reassurance." When I feel so broken and emptyhearted, this song is just so
"For when I don't want to change." Yep, still happening. What do you do when your own family
won't accept you as you are? Even if it's for the littlest things. I don't listen to the song much
anymore, but the idea will be with me at least until I move out on my own. Is 18 too young?
Deanne the Arsonist
"For when I know that I'm right and you're wrong." Haven't listened to Suicide Notes in a while.
This song is written in a completely different context than the one I listened to it in, but there were
a few lines that are relevant to my issues at the time. I think I still have the lyrics in a note
somewhere...haven't gotten to that one yet.
|19||August Burns Red|
"For when I need to know that there are fresh starts." Or are there? I try to be optimistic and for
the most part I am, but let me just say that in my experience, fresh starts don't exist.
