Changing My Girlfriend's Music Taste

I love my girlfriend so much. We go together like peas and carrots. But she has a tendency to listen to some pretty "ehh" music (with some exceptions of course) and she recently asked me to send her some new music while we were seeing what kind of heavy music she liked. Well, now I have a 10-step plan...
1Imogen Heap
Speak For Yourself

This is probably the best album she listens to, regularly. Pretty solid pop album.
2blink-182
Enema Of The State

She already listens to some blink-182. I'm going to use this semi-interest in pop- punk and expose her to more punk-orientated groups starting with Green Day's "Dookie" working up to Bad Religion's "Stranger Than Fiction" and Against Me!'s "New Wave" though I have a feeling she won't like these much. We'll get back to them later though. She'll probably fall for the comic sensitivities of Say Anything and The Wonder Years.
3Dance Gavin Dance
Happiness

I showed her Dance Gavin Dance anticipating that she'll enjoy Kurt Travis' vocals. With the addition of Jon Mess' screams, she can adjust to harsh vocals. I'll show her some average post-hardcore bands like Pierce the Veil and such, detracting from bands like Alesana and Asking Alexandria whom I cannot stand.
4A Day To Remember
For Those Who Have Heart

I'm going to slowly introduce more hardcore-influenced music starting with A Day To Remember. They have the catchy choruses and memorable lyrics of pop music with the added resonance of breakdowns and heavier screams. She can enjoy a nice dose of Haste the Day where they produce the opposite effect: screamed verses and clean choruses. Metalcore interest evolves to an extent. I'll show her some more generic pop-punk and post-hardcore before moving onto the music with more passion.
5Touche Amore
Parting The Sea Between Brightness And Me

No more clean vocals. Now she'll be used to some heavy vocals and be able to withstand the constant shouting of Jeremy Bolm. La Dispute would come afterward (or perhaps before?) then Defeater, Miles Away, Verse, MLIW...
6Pianos Become The Teeth
The Lack Long After

Screamo. She's always misused the word "screamo" as most people do. I don't whine about it or try to correct her. That's douche. Pianos Become The Teeth becomes Kidcrash becomes Hot Cross becomes Off Minor becomes Saetia becomes pg.99 becomes Orchid becomes awesome.
7Madvillain
Madvillainy

I've done the impossible. My girlfriend now likes hardcore and screamo music. Well time to go back to those punk albums she wasn't too fond of in the beginning. She'll probably enjoy some Bad Religion, (early) Against Me!, The Lawrence Arms, and even Bomb the Music Industry! She enjoys harshness and catchiness the same way I do. But what about hip-hop? Well this is probably the easiest genre to really get into because it's so simple and (usually) fun. I'll show her some old-school, Stones Throw, and probably Odd Future just for shits and giggles.
8Immolation
Majesty And Decay

Could it be? Fucking death metal?! It's a stretch but this'll take a while. Probably have to introduce her to some fun deathcore then erase the breakdowns with The Black Dahlia Murder before finally playing straight death metal.
9Wolves In The Throne Room
Diadem Of 12 Stars

Black metal is going to be a tough one as it was one of the genres that took me a long time to get into. I'm sure the female vocals and atmosphere of WITTR will interest her at this point. How about Deafheaven? Drudkh? Burzum? Holy shit, Burzum.
10Converge
Jane Doe

And through all of this, maybe, just maybe, she'll like Converge That would be awesome. I'm sure none of this will ever happen, but it was a funny thought it my head. I honestly don't care if my girlfriend listens to different music than me; I love and accept her for who she is, not what she likes. It would be cool to bump "Homewrecker" in the car though and shout "No love! No hope!" together though. Shit yeah.
