A Farewell To Kings
i feel a deja vu coming on....
Gabe Serbian so you win
yeah slight deja vu, hopefully a little better than last time tho
i was reading the list slowly wondering where Neil Peart was lol decent list, Gavin Harrison is awesome
how is blake richardson lower than moe carlson?
or keith moon not #1?
can i get this featured
yo its not ranked bro
Great list. But Matt Halpern isn't that good.
again, it's not ranked.
tho i probably should have taken the time to rank it, oh well
keith moon>everything on this list
yeah matt halpern was one of the only person who i hesitated to put on this list
dont be so absolute.
Only sith deal in absolutes.
the jedi are selfless, they care only about others
horrible list, Travis Barker should be 1st
oh definitely man
its not ranked
idk, you look like you intentionally placed peart 1st and carey 2nd. lol
where the fuck is john bonham
sonic- haha this is true my friend
Not a bad list. Would've liked to seen Hellhammer, but eh.
"Travis Barker should be 1st"
If by first you mean not on here, then yeah.
Pretty good fucking list. You covered the grounds very well, although I'm not sure about your rankings.
god dammit
Oh boy, how does "Aja" not have a review.
So because of getting bitched at your old list of drummers you make a new one to look good?
i don't really care about how i "look" to you over a music database
You must have if you made a "revised" list due to your old list getting shit. Strider did the same thing when his classic ratings where getting shit from other users.
Also 24 that guy is awful. He can barely keep a beat to save his life, and is also one of the main reasons I can only like certain Pink Floyd albums.
fearthyevil- yeah some of my old list got shit, some of it was given props. I realize that some of the people i chose for my last list were horrible so i just wanted to make a new one with drummers that actually belonged on it
whoops, my bad, man. didn't see him there.
no need for then name calling, though.
FUCK yeah, mark heron
yetanotherBRICK- all in good fun brotha
good list. but the rankings...
Buddy Rich and John Bonham are too low.
do you guys ever read the descriptions for lists?
lol vinnie paul
hahaha no problem man :)
i'd list josh freese and the guy from the berzerker...
Isis' drummers name is Aaron Harris, Michael plays guitar.
isis are gay
Good list, I would put Gene higher though.
Ahhhhh So nice to see my all time fav drummer Jojo Mayer (THE modern Buddy Rich) into a top drummers list, finally. List still needs Dennis Chambers.
24? Not really.
I was wondering were the guy from Tool why I scrolling thinking "wtf", then I was pleased where his spot was in the list.
Gavin Harrison and Mike Heron should be waaaaaaaaaaaay higher.
Good list! Even 54 - underrated.
If anyone wants to check him out, listen to Tourniquet's Immunity Vector.
64, 62, 61, 60, 58, 57, 56, 53, 52, 51, 50, 49, 34, 23, 22, 14, 7 and 1 would all be in my list.
List is 10 times better than your 1st one but some are still questionable like 43 and 42 that are nothing too special.
Still needs Topper Headon and Charlie Watts
Better list than your first. Good job.
What about Mike Mangini - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9x6HnVLdNiI
yay jethro approves!
Gabe Serbian is out of this world
much better list but some absurd picks ...
isis, protest, periphery, all shall perish, etc
Chris Haikus and Inferno and Hellhammer are needed
Needs Gospel drummer x 1,000,000.
Drummer for All Shall Perish does some amazing work on The Price of Existence
Drummer for Protest the Hero deserves a spot for his work on Fortress (instrumental).
yeah periphery doesn't need to be on here, threw it in for giggles
TOMAS FUCKING HAAKE
Fredrik Andersson too
wyankeif- yeah, what about him?
pretty good list.
those of you that think that matt halpern isn't that good need to seriously watch him/listen to him play more. dude's a straight up monster.
Fool. Gallagher is the guitarist for Isis. Aaron Harris is their drummer. Also, Herb Alexander recorded Frizzle Fry, not Jay Lane, if I'm not wrong.
Also, needs the drummer for Defeater. I don't really think Moe Carlson is all that impressive, to be honest.
@Climactic-How isn't Harris amazing!?
HOW THE FUCK ARE YOU GOING TO LEAVE OUT JOSH FREESE!!
better than the other list, good to see gadd included for once, as well as steve macdonald, jack dejohnette, jimmy cobb and lenny white. still theres some here that just dont deserve it at all.
tomas haake is a machine
no, actually. i'm pretty sure he said so in an interview, like a terminator prototype thing a-la-marcus flint.
YUSSSSS MATT KUYKENDALL
why is brad wilk on this list? he's a shit drummer
where the fuck is Jason Roeder???
This is missing Joey Jordison, he's obviously the best drummer of all-time
For the life of me, I can't imagine why people think Barker is all that good.
