02.17.12 | Around central MO - we've got a weekly and a monthly(?) dubstep events that kinda compete crowd wise (also have a slight DJ schism there too). |

02.17.12 | @Tyrannic: If you live in a decent-sized city, there'll probably be clubs that even minors can get into where there are dubstep shows/kind of club scenes. You just have to have the right peeps added on Facebook so you can get the Event invitations. |

but i've never seen a dubstep show anywhere near me

02.17.12 | Well I normally use the venue's mixer, as I'm looking at getting a NS6 once I save the money up (want to be able to scratch if I so choose). Basically atm it's me and my laptop, unless the venue has light controls at the table and then I'm all over that (I run Traktor). |

02.17.12 | yeah i think he's just on some mixer he got with the canadian government's money (student loans in canada are ballin') and his laptop, but his laptop is boss cause he's also a tech god too, so he makes a surprisingly detailed set with little resources |

02.17.12 | I mean laptop only sets are completely fine, and Traktor has some great effects don't get me wrong there. It's more of an image/personal feeling that happens occasionally; I want to learn more. Once the music starts I don't mind, but before the event my feathers get a bit ruffled. |
