Entry-level Metal

we all make fun of bands like a7x, bmf or slipcock but i'm sure we used to listen to them when we were younger. And to enjoy extreme metal it is necessary to start whith more accessible bands and develop your taste.
1Avenged Sevenfold
Waking the fallen

I used to love these guys and this was like my favourite album back in the day.
2Parkway Drive
Killing with a smile

i still love the vocalist, he has got a powerful voice.
3 All that remains
Fall of Ideals

i think that they're a talented band, even if they your play standard metalcore they still have great guitar solos and beast of a drum player.
4Killswitch Engage
The End of Heartache

they're catchy as fuck!
5 Metallica
...And Justice for All

Metallica is one of those bands that you have to listen at some point of your life.
they're easy to get into for metal starters and their first couple of albums are classic material
6Bullet For My Valentine
The Poison

they have some catchy tunes that i used to dig back in the day, I still do but just don't want to admit...

yeah this one is obvious... i used to think this was the most brootal shit ever.
8System of a Down

they some great songs and a good vocalist with a distinct voice.
9 Guns n' Roses
Appetite For Destruction

i used to listen to crappy rap like 50 cent, but as soon as the intro riff of sweet child o' mine started playing on vh1 i was ditched crappy rap and started listening to rock.
10 Pantera
Vulgar Display of Power

dimebag is a fucking great guitar player and phill is a beast.
if you show this a metal-n00b it will most likely become his favourite album.
