If you're talking about that first album, I would agree with you somewhat ("Down With The Sickness" was an overplayed nuisance for too long), but they do try new things out and that's what makes them stand-out to me. While other bands were fine with staying the same, at least these guys could change their sound every now-and-then in order to try and create something that is refreshing to listen to. Indestructible and Believe are their only two albums that I really enjoy through-and-through, though. |

09.25.12 | Highly disagree about them remaking Believe again and again, Ten Thousand Fists had it's moments, but Indestructible had more going on (instrumentally) than Believe. With the solos and the technical side of it all, Indestructible IS a better album than Believe. But Believe is the better written one with solid instrumentation throughout as well as Draiman's finest vocal performance. |
