Top 5 Favourite Comic-Book Movies (With Songs That Would Go Well With the Movies)
1AC/DC
If You Want Blood (You've Got It)

THE AVENGERS: This movie rocked. The performances were pitch-perfect, especially Mark Ruffalo and Chris Evans. Of course the action was over-the- charts awesome, but Whedon nabbed me more with the constantly witty and hysterical dialogue. Probably the most quotable film of 2012 (I can't tell ya how many times I've repeated Downey's "historically (not) awesome" line). All the elements make this one more fun then an expensive visit to the theme park.
2Autopilot Off
Blessed By A Nightmare

IRON MAN: Robert Downey Jr. owns this film. From beginning to end, he is phenomenal (he should have gotten a lead actor nomination for this movie). All of the action brilliantly stems from the story of Tony Stark's attempt to rid the world of the destructive weapons that he helped create. It's the most personal comic- book story ever told on film (IMO) and a wonderful resurrection for Robert Downey Jr.
3Finger Eleven
Good Times

X-MEN: FIRST CLASS: When I first saw the trailer to this film, I had good vibes. Fast forward to it's release and I loved it. I cried, laughed, sat on the edge of my seat and loved every minute of this fantastic preboot to this flawed franchise. I look to this film as a reboot because it refreshes everything and makes it interesting. The performances, especially from both Michael Fassbender and James McAvoy, are powerful and they only add to their predecessors' previous performances. Amazing action, villains who are actually threatening (at one point Kevin Bacon's straight-out racist as the nazi-villain of the piece, which fits the time-period unfortunately well) and an ending that makes you crave for more (so much more).
4Rise Against
Paper Wings

BATMAN: SUBZERO: This film, probably a third of The Dark Knight Rises length, made me care for Batman more than any other on-screen incarnation evah. Better than Bale's constipated groans, Kevin Conroy stands as my favourite Batman (even if he is only the character's voice). If you hated the way that Batman & Robin handled Mr. Freeze, allow Subzero to be the movie to refresh you on why Mr. Freeze is one of the best comic-book villains that Batman has ever faced.
5Tonic
Open Up Your Eyes

SUPERMAN: THE MOVIE: Christopher Reeves not only made you believe a man could fly, but he made you believe in heroes as well. This is a fantastic film that's more fun and entertaining than any modern-day DC film could ever hope to be (but Batman Begins and The Dark Knight Rises came close, while others failed).
