Best Kept Secrets

List is simple - rare-ish stuff that doesn't get a ton of attention on Sputnik. Not claiming I'm some kind of trailblazer and that people haven't heard this stuff, just sayin'. Links are my fav tracks.
Absence of I

Best of the best aggressive post-rock with a prog twist. Drummer is wtf amazing, imagine Gospel drummer meets Danny Carey. Plus album has this crazy insect theme with samples.
Check out Pilot:
2Wax on Radio

Fantastic Indie-prog band with soaring vocals and amazing songwriting. RIP.
Check out When In Rome:
3French Teen Idol
Enlightened False Consciousness

Awesome ambient, great samples and striking atmosphere.
Check out The Fleeting Beauty of a Butterfly:
What Sound

Some of the best trip-hop out there imo. Similar to Portishead if I had to compare. Female vocalist's voice is intoxicating. They have an amazing discography, but check out Gabriel:
5Bark Psychosis
Codename: Dustsucker

Bark is pretty well known, but their curtain call doesn't get nearly enough love. The first half of the album is flawless - imagine Laughing Stock meets Mezzanine.
Check out Black Meat:
