03.13.11 | Yes got it, will check out tonight hopefully. But better than Room? Can't be. |

03.13.11 | No. It's closer quality wise to First Impressions. Although First Impressions wa split between some really good and some pretty bad songs the songs on Angles are all just fairly average. UCoD, Life Is Simple, Taken For a Fool, and Grastifaction are all pretty good though |

03.13.11 | Also Call Me Back is good, but it kinda falls apart about halfway through imo |

03.14.11 | This is coming off as a throwback to 80's synths and treated drums. I am only half-way
through, but the raw "garage-rock" appeal that made Is This It and (to a lesser degree) Room on Fire so
endearing seems present solely in Under Cover of Darkness. The instrumentation is more complex,
unnerving, and at times, bewildering. This is First Impressions 2.0. So dissapointed. |

5 years of work for this? |

03.14.11 | Trebor - I hear that.. Did you know Casablancas emailed his vocals to the band from a separate studio? meh it is. |

03.14.11 | "This is First Impressions 2.0"
I don't disagree with that. The good thing about Angles though, is that the songs themselves are far more focused. They do try to do many things - but not at once. And that is why I think nearly every song on this album is great (some of the borderline awesome) |

03.14.11 | I've been wondering about this, I like the single. |

03.14.11 | Lots of nice songs, but there are definitely a few duds. Overall, I'm not disappointed. |
