Most Controversial Metal Albums?

From what I understand, these are probably the most controversial heavy metal records of all-time. No order.
1Slayer
Reign in Blood

Why: Very graphic artwork, unsettling music, and twisted lyrics. The last part is especially true of "Angel of Death", which is probably the most controversial metal song ever.
2Metallica
St. Anger

Why: Okay, so their black album was quite controversial among fans because they toned down the agression and opted for more straightforward/mainstream metal. Load and Reload were even more controversial because they went in a bluesy/hard rock vibe. However, I think it's safe to say that St. Anger is their most controversial of all. Poor production, no guitar solos, annoying drumwork, but most of all it was not the return to form the band said it would be.
3Venom
Welcome to Hell

Why: Started black metal, Satanic lyrics, accused of being satanic.
4Iron Maiden
The Number of the Beast

Why: Although today it is considered a classic, on initial release it got a lot of negativity not only from critics, but also from churches and religious organizations for its artwork and the title tracks lyrics.
5 Cannibal Corpse
any of their first few albums

Why: Very graphic artwork and lyrics. At one point they were even criticized by Bob Dole for "undermining the national character of the United States."
6Judas Priest
Stained Class

Why: The song "Better By You, Better Than Me" was used as a scapegoat for the suicide of two teenage boys in 1985, leading to a trial in 1990.
7Black Sabbath
Black Sabbath

Why: "Dark" atmosphere, doomy lyrics, and use of the "diabolus in musica" led to accusations of the band members being Satanic.
8Mayhem
Dawn of the Blackhearts

Why: DUDE! LOOK AT THE COVER! THAT PICTURE IS REAL!
9 Brujeria
Matando Gueros

Why: Very graphic artwork, lyrical content is about killing Americans.
10Ozzy Osbourne
Blizzard of Ozz

Why: The song "Suicide Solution" was used as a scapegoat for a teens' suicide in 1984.
