Well I started listening to "good music" as I guess we could call it at about ten years old when I heard my first (and i know this sounds stereotypical but fuck off if you don't like it) gy!be album (slow riot for new zero kanada) and I thought they had the most hysterical name ever so i bought it from f.y.e. and adored it. i looked it up and saw that virtually everyone in the "underground" internet scene knew who they were and so I thought that by looking deeper I'd find just as many treasures and I have.
But you're right my 4.5 section is ginormous and full of 4s and I need to clean it out.

12.09.10 | 11 is a short burst of angular aggression-powerviolence/grind that wears off after about 3 or 4 listens but it's still great.
7 is a much more melodic and atmospheric Xasthur that returns to his old roots but the results are mixed because even though it's not as monotonous or as lo-fi as his later works it's not as interesting as his beginnings. |
