04.12.10 | I've just been playing in bands for about 10 years, and after you spend all that time in garages/basements/jam spaces around drum sets, you just sort of pick it up by fucking around on them for about an hour a week.
also, when I was in high school my band practiced in my basement a few times a week and the drummer just left his kit there. So I just kinda fell into it.
I wouldn't be good enough to play in any sort of real band though. |

in reference to my earlier comment indiancoffee, I think I'm good enough to play guitar in any sort of metal or hardcore band, just not drums. I can hold down simple rock and punk beats, but I'm not nearly proficient enough with a bass pedal to perform for money or anything. |
