What's getting me through finals...
|1||As I Lay Dying|
The Powerless Rise
The band that pretty much got me into metal in HS, great album that proves metalcore can be great without 105 breakdowns/song.
The Adventures of Bobby Ray
Not a huge hip-hop fan, but was quite caught by surprise at how effortlessly the alt-hop went together.
This was way too hyped up, but still some damn fine prog-metal.
Blue Sky Noise
Better than previous releases
|5||Sent By Ravens|
Our Graceful Words
Nice emery-like band
In Medias Res
If Closure in Moscow, Circa Survive, and Muse had a threesome, well I don't want to watch it, but it'd sound like this.
|7||The Dillinger Escape Plan|
Never tried listening to this band; now I'm realizing I was stupid not to.
Axe To Fall
Finally tried getting into this band, and it worked.
The World is a Thorn
Some really bad songs off-set some really good ones featuring two Swedish guys.
|10|| ||Bullet for My Valetine|
It's catchy, so sue me. The lyrics are so terrible, Fred Durst is studying them for future releases.
|Recs would be greatly appreciated|
Wu-Tang Clan's debut album
Dr. Octagon-Dr. Octagonacologist
If you like 8, get Jane Doe, its good
|Check out SikTh =)|
|@ vanderb0b- Thanks, yeah I need to get into some good hip-hop. I've heard some of that Wu-Tang Clan album (who hasn't), but I'll have to give them a full chance.|
@ Jebull- Thanks, yeah I've heard of them but need to d/l something to listen.
