Some Meshuggah Fanboy Just Told Me Dream Theater Aren't Progressive Metal

Oh my GOD. It's getting harder to stand kids, I feel old before my time. This kid said "Meshuggah put on a better show than any other progressive metal band out there", and I thought I'd engage him in conversation- his opinion seemed valid. So all I said was I wasn't so sure of that, a lot of quality prog metal bands put on good shows. Now, I thought I'd just use Dream Theater as an example. Big name band, easily found on youtube, etc. Linked to them playing "In The Name Of God" live. He replies with just this: "Dream Theater isn't progressive metal". *flips table over* And I know it's hilarious. But... for frig's sake.
