01.29.12 | As far as modern classical is concerned, you can't go wrong with mid-period Henryk Gorecki is concerned, try his "Symphony of Sorrowful Songs." Bela Bartok's "Mandarin Suite" is also pretty killing. LaMonte Young is also really cool if you're willing to take a challenge. And Nobuo Uematsu. Like, everything he's ever done. |
