I'm not really sure even, I haven't talked to Phantom in a long time and to Jingle I haven't talked about that specific thing in a while. I just know that neither of them liked 95% of the new users who joined post-2008 and found that this site has lost a lot of its charm. The retirement of other older users and the absence of compelling threads was also not helping (plus, like Nag once so succinctly put it, they didn't like that this site was slowly turning into an internet high-school). Also, I know that Jingle is busy with the TCM blog and writes for some magazine in his country. |
