02.18.12 | @Dominion I am 15
@fsharptrit it was interesting, it was good but really dry, i would recomend reading it gradually while also reading a standard novel to keep your interest. it really helps you understand a lot of the world's ideology better. I would reccomend it but its long and dry so read something else to keep it enjoyable |

07.29.12 | I read a shitload, even though I'm late for this stuff. I mainly read fantasy novels/series though, and the latest shit I've been reading has been Brandon Sanderson and Patrick Rothfuss. |
ApplicationToHeaven
07.29.12 | 5 is a classic |
HypedMerchant
07.29.12 | oh and fucking George R. R. Martin; before I started reading Mistborn I thought his shit was the shit, but then after reading the first book in the Mistborn trilogy, I was all like "Well, this shit is so much better than that shit." so I bought the first book in his new series :P |

Gundlach
07.29.12 | Reading catch-22 right now. It's fucking hilarious and meaningful at the same time. |
HypedMerchant
07.29.12 | yeah, I think it's loads better. i don't like how brandon sanderson is going to be known as the guy that wrote wheel of time after robert jordan died. it's really well thought out. it's not really your typical fantasy novel and the type of magic is really unique. it's not really an adventure series and doesn't focus on like 20 different characters at a time. |
JohnnyoftheWell
07.29.12 | sounds cool, might check it out when (if I ever) finish WoT and ASOIAF |
HypedMerchant
07.29.12 | also, brandon has a book called way of kings, which is the first book in his new series. i just bought it recently but i haven't started reading it yet, but it's already considered one of the best fantasy novels. I think it was ranked three on this website. I forgot the website, though. It was behind Tales of Malazan and Lord of the Rings (shocker). |
HypedMerchant
07.29.12 | yeah, i need to read it too. i don't wanna buy it though, it's like 13 books. |
pmmets07
07.29.12 | last 5:
The Winter of Our Discontent (hated it)
House of Leaves (was kinda cool)
some shitty book about a crooked cop
A Visit from the Goonsquad (decent)
A Streetcar Named Desire (hated it)
i've been in a reading slump lately |
pmmets07
07.29.12 | my favorite Vonnegut was A Man Without a Country by far |
TheFonz123
07.29.12 | i'm reading a bunch of Freud's stuff right now. He was far off on a lot of things but he was brilliant and I'm enjoying myself. THe best was when he spent an entire chapter outlining and explaining factually why it is that women are inferior to men lol |
pmmets07
07.29.12 | mother night was awesome |

07.29.12 | What is the purpose of this list, to make us think you're cool since you stole a textbook from school and apparently read the whole thing? |

07.29.12 | women like to fuck
what a revelation |
TheFonz123
07.29.12 | women like to fuck =/= older women like to get brutally hurt while getting fucked
that's why it's distasteful as a marketing technique |

07.29.12 | Just read Magician by Raymond E. Feist, brilliant stuff. On par with George R.R. Martin.
