Sweeet, lots of albums to check out. Thanks! I'll start listening right now.
Masochist: Yes, It's really weird, I know, you're not the first one to mentiont that. Actually, it was my first taste of BR, and I liked it a lot. I listened to it almost every day...to the point that I overplayed it. I know every bit of the cd, I can't stand it anymore :S
Oh, forgot to mention, I actually have The Empire Strikes Back, but I haven't listened to it, so, I think it's time to do it.
Not true Joshua
ya i mean fair to midland has a 4.1 out of basically 300 votes, but since josh says they are boring you should probably listen to him
listen to Sound Awake, it's much more proggy. Themata is just a bunch of fucking awesome hooks
awesome hooks *and riffs
it's quite long that's for sure
yeah, i revisited Karnivool for the first time in a long while and have been listening to them pretty much all night
it helps that I LOOOOVE Ian Kenney's vocals
i love progressive stuff. mainly 70s stuff like rush, kansas, styx, plus dream theater. my favorite genre ever
So far I checked Soft Machine - Third. Quite long for sure, but is great, quite tripy. Also, what should I get first Devin townsend's Terria or Addicted? (I know both are from diferent bands but, well, you know what I mean...)
addicted is easily the most accessible (and the female singer is from the gathering, which is a band i rec'd you) terria is fucking outstanding but it took me several listens to get into. listen to the track "earth day" from terria since thats basically the best song he's ever written
