If you want REAL woodlands you go east, if you want something "mystical" go to Transylvania. If you want versatility you should go to NZ or Oz. If you some nice landscapes and snow, you could go to Scandinavia. If you want action, go to Africa. |

09.23.11 | I'm in Brooklyn, much like many other recent college grads, and it's, by far, the best city for things to do all the time. Besides the boundless music and art available here, it has a huge variety of people to meet and neighborhoods to explore. There are class and race barriers like any big city, but since everything is so packed together here, it makes for the weirdest culture shocks and intermingling.
However, this city tries its hardest to defile you up the ass and squeeze every last cent out of you, so if you don't work hard (or have a trust fund), you'll get eaten alive. I think everyone should at least try New York for a year, but don't live in Manhattan, haha. |
