You might have completely different opinions of them down the road. Whenever you get a tattoo of a phrase or something, it's best to do one that's had heavy meaning to you, and will for as long as you live. |

The tattoo is for my best friend/boyfriend that passed away, it was one of his favorite albums, one of mine, the song timothy which repeats those lines is very relevent to the situation, and his headstone reads "Come now my friend, brother, son, sleep." So its more then just an album name to me. |

It is my first and I've been settled in the placement for like 6 years, and been trying to decide between the two for quite awhile so dont worry lol I'm not one to make rash quick choices AT ALL.

Actually I really wanted "You Are My Silence" Alot more (was his sputnik user name) Thought it was more original and always really liked it... and would probably choose that one almost immediatly, however I have no idea where it came from. I never asked him where he got it :/ And im pretty sure that would drive me insane forever. |

Just going to warn you - getting it on your collarbone hurts quite a bit, and probably will feel more so since you haven't had any tattoos before.
And, yeah, since it'll be pretty visible, be prepared for anybody who sees it to ask what it means - if that's going to bother you, I might reconsider.
I've seen that phrase tossed around in some poems and songs, but I think his favorite album has more significance than his Sputnik handle, so I'd go with the former. |
