Metalcore Bands I Like

I am by no means a huge metalcore band. In fact I think the majority nowadays is garbage. These bands have always stuckout for me though...
1August Burns Red

I went and saw these guys open up for All That Remains in 08' and these guys tore shit up. Probably the best live show I have seen (And I have seen Opeth, Dream Theater...ect) Hoping I catch a chance to see them again. Matt Griener is a monster on the drums. Jake is also one of the best screamers in the genre.
2Misery Signals

These guys can do more then just write a bunch of breakdowns. Misery Signals have the perfect blend of beauty and brutality. The song that showcases this the best is "The Stinging Rain"
3Killswitch Engage (Alive Or Just Breathing Era)

That era of KSE was incredible. Jesse was an amazing vocalist. The music was so fresh on that record. Too bad they never really progressed after this record. (Howard is a good vocalist too. Probably better when it comes to clean vocals. The songwriting just started to lag on he later albums)
4The Dillinger Escape Plan

The most chaotic, schizophrenic music I have ever heard. Each album slays. Can't wait for the new one.
5Converge

Another example of the perfect beauty and emotion. Very cool band. The singers vocals can be hard to take in sometimes but it usually adds to the uncertainty of the atmosphere.
