|Vinyl Shrine |
i just finished my vinyl shrine in my room... i put up some my favorite records that i own...rcheck it out... http://yfrog.com/2mm970j
The Age of Nero
I picked this up cheep used from my record shop when i was getting into BM... didnt realize it was more Black'n'roll than what i was looking for... but an ok record with nice looking cover...
love this record and love Roger Deans cover art...
Pieces of Eight
This band is my ultimate guilty pleasure... love this cover and its my favorite styx album...
i actually just saw them at the Louisville Palace, drunk as fuck, had a blast with my padre... was the youngest one there
These guys are hometown heros and this happens to be the album that spawned post-rock...
the vinyl sounds absolutely fantastic...
Got this in mint condition from my step-uncles collection... love maiden
saw them in Detroit last summer...
|6||Echo and the Bunnymen|
these guys are prolly my favorite post-punk band... while i prefer ocean rain, this is the only record of theirs ive been blessed enough to find...
The Devil and God are Raging Inside Me
this is prolly my favorite record of all time... got the white vinyl version... sounds very nice on this format
had to pick this one up...
this was my gateway to Zappa and it also feature my favorite cover art of all time... I read somewhere that the artist tried to place all things that represent his personality with in the cover... fascinating to look at...
|10||Cradle of Filth |
Dusk... And Her Embrace
just bought this today... this is one of my favorite BM albums...
sadly I wasnt all that impressed by the sound of the Vinyl... i dono if the album was produced with the format in mind...
|11||The Mars Volta|
The Bedlam in Goliath
this is my favorite MV album... fuck those who say its not... the addition of Thomas Pridgen to the line-up tightened their sound and as a result this album rocks harder than anything else they've done...
Classic... 'nuff said
this is an original pressing
picked this up on their tour with Murder by Death... sounds great
The Last in Line
RIP... while its not Holy Diver it's his second best solo offering...
serves as a great place holder until i find a copy of HD
|15||Cat Stevens |
Tea for the Tillerman
love Cat Stevens and the cover is pretty nice too...
this is the american version of the reccord... its been the only beatles album ive found that was is descent condition and not overpriced
|17||Judas Priest |
Screaming for Vengeance
as a metalhead had to rep the priest....
This album is a classic and has it all, composition, the hooks, the melodies, virtuoso playing, and lyrical content...
and a kick ass cover...
not even close to their best album, nor does it really hold to either speedmetal or thrash, causing it to be overlooked. But not by me when i saw the hilariously bad(and by that i mean awesome) cover art...
The Last Command
Blackie Lawless conquering all before him and raising the Flag... couldnt not include this... the sleeve is epic too... it has all theirs decapitated heads impaled on the end of spears... METAL...
These last two are honorable mentions as they didnt quite make the wall but are facing out on my top self...
Heaven and Hell
again... im a huge Dio Fan
