and i wouldn't say that punk necessarily died, it just went further underground. post-1980s crust/hardcore is still legit. |

10.20.09 | I think Propagandhi is pretty awesome. I wouldn't start with Supporting Caste though. I'd go with Today's Empires, Tomorrow's Ashes. Or maybe Less Talk, More Rock.
But yeah, Dead Kennedys, Black Flag, Minor Threat (and Fugazi for that matter) and Bad Brains are all seriously missing from most of these recs. |
