| Is This It?
No, not the strokes. | 1 | | Hopesfall The Satellite Years
Sounds like a good band, and album cover looks great. | 2 | | Glassjaw Everything You Ever Wanted To Know About
Didn't like the look of this band the first time I heard them, did this time. Not sure why... | 3 | | Oceansize Frames
Sounds like Porcupine Tree. Depressing to me, but good nonetheless. | 4 | | The Word Alive Deceiver
I liked their EP, since then, I have avoided scene-like music, however, I do like this. | 5 | | Sunny Day Real Estate Diary
It truely surprises me that this is considered emo. | 6 | | Saves The Day Under the Boards
Yay for punk! | 7 | | Rush Snakes & Arrows
I've heard lots of good about this band, and spirit of the radio on guitar hero was sick lol, I don't really know where to start to get into this band. | 8 | | Katy Perry Teenage Dream
Why am I bothering to go through this album? | |
climactic
08.29.10 | Get into 7 by starting with their mid-70's albums (incredible), then work your way backwards to their first few (not great), then to the 80's and forward. (Some good ones, lots of mediocre)
Their new album comes out soon I think. | climactic
08.29.10 | Also, 4 is pretty good and 5 is awesome. | TrapThemAlive
08.29.10 | "glassjaw is the most overrated band ever"
i love you | eternium
08.29.10 | 5 is amazing. | bloc
08.30.10 | Hoping for Strokes | TRMshadow
08.30.10 | why are you surprised by 5? What would you call it? | LegendofPittman
08.30.10 | 2 and 5 is awesomeness. I love 7, although I don't think they have really written a "great" album since Moving Pictures. Agreed with climactic, mid to late 70's Rush plus Moving Pictures is the best. | Desolator
08.30.10 | I would have called 5 rock, but I feel kinda silly doing so, they seem to sound similar to the Silversun Pickups - who are under rock (no pun intended) last I checked.
Okay, so early Rush, I'll probably start with Moving Pictures I guess and see how it goes, thanks.
I should go and make a list titled "this is not it" and fill it with the strokes, just to make bloc happy... | tkxxx7
09.07.10 | I don't think GlassJaw are overrated.
I have the hugest crush on Katy Perry, but that 'Peacock' song makes me cringe inside. | DiceMan
09.07.10 | DAISY DUKES BIKINIS ON TOP | Yazz_Flute
09.07.10 | 1 2 and 3 are some of my favorites, 2 is not overrated, one of the most emotionally draining albums you'll ever listen to.
Also 3 is way better than Porcupine Tree. | acorncheese
09.07.10 | 3 is coincidentally the 3rd best album ever made. | UnnamedOcean
09.07.10 | I don't see how you compare Oceansize to Porcupine Tree, they sound a lot different. | qwe3

09.07.10 | ^ They're often compared. They don't sound alike at all imo, but I think it's the fact that they're both from the UK and thus share fans. That and they both have fucking mathy, insane fucking drummers. | NigelH
09.07.10 | Damn, was hoping for Strokes ranked. As for Rush, Moving Pictures for their more radio-based sound and A Farewell To Kings for the proggy side are good places to start. | Desolator
09.11.10 | are there any songs in there like the spirit of radio? I like that one a lot |
