06.30.11 | I'd rank 6 and 23 higher, but to be honest after hearing so much about the show and finally watching it from start to finish I found it good but not breath taking. Samurai Champloo blew me away though, although both anime's have good soundtracks and are made by the same studio. |

06.30.11 | It's one of those that starts with one story, and while it carries it through it weaves another into it. One is resolved through the episodes and one is just handed to you at the end. It's philosophically heavy, Raison d'être's and reality are large themes. Helps that the lead character is such a B.A. goth girl too ^_^ |

06.30.11 | Ohhhh close call, GiTS has far more episodes and deals with society whereas Ergo Proxy is about the self. I'd say for the moment they're tied, but if it helps I consider Re-l Mayer to be a better character than Motoko (GiTS was always about the teamwork for me, I never fell into the "the show is only good when the Major is there!" thing). |
