Chunga's Revenge
I suppose i must be a sucker for his earlier work! On this he demonstrated more of his satirical side, but only in small amounts, and even they were catchy songs. I think this also maybe one of his most accessible works. Title track is pure awesome. | | 4 |  | Frank Zappa
Shut Up 'n Play Yer Guitar
I think the name of the album sums up what i sometimes feel about zappa, his work was so varied and that apart from being what made him so great could also be his biggest problem, i would often listen to whole albums of pure comedy songs just waiting for some music. While his other albums show his composing skills, this proves him to be such an innovative guitarist. Dreamy stuff. | | 5 |  | Frank Zappa
London Symphony Orchestra, Vol. 1
Of his orchestral works, this is the one i prefer. All Zappa has immense replay value, but this is the one i come back to so often because there is so much to find. | |
