Bands. The Last Couple Of Months

Bands I've seen the last couple of months, mainly in the past two and half weeks. It's been nice.
1Capsule [US]
Blue

Saw them in a basement with other bands from around here.
2Some Mistakes
Glamorous Thoughts

Local show, still one of my favorite bands to see and the most emotional. Melodic hardcore. http://somemistakes.bandcamp.com/
3Deathbed
Oppression

Same show, another local band. '90s metallic hardcore worship with their own twist. Vegan straightedge, animal liberation, heavy riffs, etc. http://deathbed.bandcamp.com/
4 Le Butcherettes
Sin Sin Sin

Mexican punk-ish band with a girl vocalist/guitar/keyboard player. Opened for DEP and Deftones. She came out with a broom and started sweeping the amplifiers before starting the show which involved her wrecking a guitar, throwing it at us, and stagediving. She's also pretty hot.
5The Dillinger Escape Plan
Option Paralysis

6Deftones
Diamond Eyes

Greatest thing ever. The crowd got too crazy downstairs (crushing everyone up front, including me, mainly) so I watched them from the balcony. Played almost everything I wanted, including Passenger with Greg from Dillinger.
7 Antpile
EP

Local emo band that I'm also good friends with. They're really something else to see live. They opened for Capsule as well as the bands following up to Title Fight. http://antpile.bandcamp.com/track/those-fake-smiles
8Dead End Path
Death Walks Beside Us

Pretty good but also quite generic to me. Lots of hardcore dancing and moshing. Did I mention that it was like 95 degrees in a venue with no a/c at this show?
9The Menzingers
Chamberlain Waits

I don't listen to them but they played a good show with lots of energy and patiently waited through the mics going out. There were a couple of girls going nuts over it and really fun 'pop-punk moshing'.
10Touche Amore
Parting the Sea Between Brightness and Me

The main reason I was there. I was dead center, up front when they started. Got stagedived on my face, pushed up stage and not able to get off, it was great. So much energy, crowd was nuts, and talked to Jeremy for a minute after the show as well as getting a copy of the record.
11Title Fight
Shed

Great band, not into them like other people are though. They did extremely well nonetheless.
12Zoroaster
Dog Magic

Last night. Heavy. Riffs. Orange heads and beards everywhere at this show.
13Kylesa
Spiral Shadow

Slowly becoming one of my favorite bands, the reason I went. Phil cut off his hair and beard which was weird but they were just about perfect. Opened with Don't Look Back, closed with Hollow Severer. Friend got punched the face while moshing.
14The Sword
Warp Riders

Great band. They were awesome but we bailed early due to my friend's headaches (cause he got punched in the face). As far as I'm concerned they should have opened for Kylesa.
