| My Ideal Deftones Setlist
Just got Diamond Eyes today, BlackDiamondSkye is this summer, so
I've been thinking of what I want the setlist to be. This setlist is
reasonable, consists of the essentials, four songs from Diamond
Eyes since that's what they're touring for, and maybe it's possible. | | 1 | Deftones
Rocket Skates
I think this is what they've been opening with lately and would be a sick
opener. GUNS, RAZORS, KNIVES. | | 2 | My Own Summer (Shove It)
Probably their most known song and a classic. Probably has been played
at every show since they wrote it. | | 3 | Hexagram
Paint the streets in white.. | | 4 | Beware
Only one song from Saturday Night Wrist, sadly, because of time restaint,
but none of those are really essentials except this one, which is my favorite
from the album (especially because of the breakdown at the end). | | 5 | Nosebleed
Only one song from Adrenaline as well and this is probably my favorite from
it. It's just a badass song. "I don't need this shit you fucking whore." | | 6 | Diamond Eyes
Title track, heavy as hell and melodious at the same time. | | 7 | Be Quiet and Drive (Far Away)
The other classic from Around the Fur and one of the best songs they've
done. Song is so smooth and melodious, until the end when Chino goes

Definitely one of my favorite Deftones songs. Go get your knife, go get your

Favorite song from Diamond Eyes. It's just beautiful, despite what the

For Chi. So much energy and probably their only true nu-metal song (fuck
those who call Deftones nu-metal). When you walk into this world, walk up

brings my knees to the earth. And God bless you all, for the song, you

Okay, My Own Summer isn't their best known song, this is and it's also one

I don't understand why Deftones have been closing sets with Back to
School lately when this is so much better. It's the original version and
when they first made Back to School, they hated it and only made it for the
record company to make them stfu about a single. This would be an
amazing closer. | |
