Well, I said fuck that, I walked away and was not sad at all. Although the story seems fucked up, I have gotten nothing but benefits from it: I am no longer bound by a commitment, and for the first time in my life, have time for what really matters - my band. Also, the whole "best friend dating the ex" thing made me throw away rotten friendships and find new ones, with which I have so much more in common than with the previous.
