Lost Finale Was Horrible

So here are some recent digs. To elaborate, the series finale only provided closure for a plot line that was introduced this season. People keep saying that the "sideways" plot was explained, which it was... but it has practically nothing to do with the rest of the show. It isn't that the ending was confusing, it makes perfect sense, but still has nothing to do with almost every other plot element introduced since day one. I think they expected that if the last season wrapped up a few loose ends and the finale was emotional enough, people would get overwhelmed into accepting a really generic ending. You know, you could end almost ANY show the way they ended Lost. Because the ending was, in all actuality, irrelevant to every character, back story, mystery, revelation... See More, and cliffhanger ever introduced by the rest of the series OTHER than the "flash sideways" introduced in season 6. You could have literally played that game during the series finale of Dawson's Creek if you really wanted to. It's like, "Hey, how do we end one of the most obsessed over TV shows of all time without having to end it or actually explain anything? Oh I know. Introduce another TV show into it during the final season, and end that one instead."
