2 - I don't know... try some Annihilator maybe? RIP is kinda one of a kind.
3 - Show No Mercy, Feel the Fire, Fistful of Metal... basically anything that was released in '83 to '85 should do you good.
4 - Exodus - The Atrocity Exhibition: Exhibit A. It's darker and more aggressive, but has plenty of melodic solos and awesome riffs.
5 - World Painted Blood is fairly similar, but I'm guessing you've heard that. Outside of Slayer I'm not too sure.
I like newer Testament better than older Testament. Gathering and Formation of Damnation are excellent, Low's pretty good, Demonic's passable, the 'classic' stuff is okay I guess. The only one to really avoid is Souls of Black. |
