bungy Reveals Dramatic Punk Closer Formula

Some punk bands have realized the power offered by this formula. rIt rcheaply exacerbates the accessible warm fuzzy/exciting/nostalgic rfeeling rgenerated by catchy and anthemic choruses and briefly renders reveryone rcompletely gay. List is 10 examples off the top of my head
1Dillinger Four

Step 1: The First 2/3 of the song. This part doesn't matter, it's only importance is to
be good but not better than the last third.
2Against Me!
We Laugh at Danger

Step 2: The Breakdown. This is usually just the chorus played slower, but without all
the instrument noise to make sure everyone can hear the crowd singing along. Often
accompanied by clapping and gang vocals.
3American Steel
Tear the Place Apart

Step 2.5: Either a quick build up or a dramatic pause before Step 3
4Less Than Jake
Help Save the Youth of America..

Step 3: The chorus or catchy sing along part in The Breakdown but with the
instrument noise. Often accompanied by jumping, fist pumps, straight men in flannel
making out
5The Riverboat Gamblers
The Art of Getting Fucked

Step 4: show ends on a high note
6Streetlight Manifesto
Keasby Nights
7Direct Hit!
They Came for Me
Kristina's Last Song
9Red City Radio
50th and Western
10Captain, We're Sinking
Like the Gun in Mary Lou's Hand
