My 4.75 Albums

These are albums that linger between 4.5 and 5, but are at a 4.5 at the moment. Reasons why as well.
1Arcade Fire
Funeral

Some songs just outshine others by a large margin. Haiti being one that is a bit weaker than others for me.
2Cursive
The Ugly Organ

Some songs seem to be there for the sole purpose of setting up others.
3Deftones
White Pony

For some reason, I just can't get into Street Carp and Korea as much as the rest of the album.
4Fear Before
The Always Open Mouth

If it only it was a bit more original and didn't blend together in parts.
5Glassjaw
Worship and Tribute

Daryl's voice is just a bit too poppy in some places for my taste.
6 Godspeed You! Black Emperor
F#A#?

The ending of the album tends to be a bit too up down in dynamics for me. Just when you think it is over, there is another build-up.
7John Coltrane
A Love Supreme

I think I just need to do some more background information and listen to this more. I am fairly new to Jazz so recs would be appreciated for this one.
8Sonic Youth
Daydream Nation

This album is actually VERY close to a 5 for me at the moment. May become a 5 with more love.
9The Dillinger Escape Plan
Calculating Infinity

If only this album didn't have so many tracks that blended together.
10The Mars Volta
Frances the Mute

Cassandra Gemini... enough said.
11The National
Alligator

This album is more recent than others and is another one that probably needs some loving.
12Thrice
The Illusion of Safety

The standouts on this album blow the rest of it away. I have a lot of personal history with this album as well, but every time I listen to it it still feels a bit empty in parts.
13Tool
AEnima

This album tends to drag a little near the end until Third Eye.
