The 90's Were The 60's?!

I recently saw a YouTube comment that compared Eddie Vedder to Jim Morrison and Chris Cornell to Robert Plant, and this got me thinking about other similarities between the 90's and the 60's. Feel free to add stuff you think is apt.
1Pearl Jam

The Doors:- Somewhat overrated (musically) pseudo-blues band fronted by an incredibly charismatic frontman who has the kind of baritone voice that melts the underwear of most women and some men.
2Soundgarden

Led Zeppelin:- Incredibly talented and musically diverse band that (depending on who you ask) took a while to find their sound or sold out by veering too far from their roots. Fronted by an incredibly talented singer who can either lull you to sleep or peel the paint of your walls, depending on his mood.
3Nirvana

Jimi Hendrix Experience:- Power trio consisting of an extremely (and some will argue, undeservedly) popular and influential left-handed guitarist/singer. The rest of the band rarely gets any credit/recognition.
4Alice in Chains

Black Sabbath:- Perhaps the least popular of the 'great' bands of their time, but possibly the most influential. Heavier than anyone else wanted to be at the time.
5Alanis Morrissette

Janis Joplin:- Female singer-songwriter with the unparalleled ability to convey emotion and anger.
