I'm a christian myself, but I've come to accept that I'm not going to like some of the stuff around me. If I don't like it, I can ignore it, and if I can't ignore it, I can at least investigate and inform myself about the bands and thier music.
For instance, I don't listen to black metal (not because of the style itself, the style of music interests me.) But I recently read up on the genre, after taking some interest in the artwork surrounding it ( black metal logos ftw).
It's inevitable that kids will stumble across extreme metal and culture at some point in time, so it's up to those around them to encourage speculation and thought, rather than breeding another generation of soapbox-mounting megaphone radicals.
Satanism is a choice, and I can't talk anyone out of any activity or entertainment they occupy themselves with, doesn't matter how right or wrong I find it.
If someone acts violently or threatens me on the basis of their satanic beliefs (or christian beliefs for that matter) I have an issue with it.
But if I'm safe and allowed to believe what I believe, and they respect that and believe what they believe, both sides are happy. Here's a tip: If people want a preacher, they'll ask for one.
