Something's Up
I posted a review. Several hours later its still not showing up on the front page. The whole point of putting it there was to hear people's opinions on it and the album, that's kind of hard when nobody knows I've written it.
Officially it exists, if you go into the "more" tab of the "user reviews" column you'll find it, but that isn't much use to anybody
I don't want to seem like an attention whore, but come on, I spent weeks on the damn thing, I'd rather not have it all go to waste.
Can anyone explain to me why the review is not showing up with the rest of the user reviews on the front page? | | 1 | | Yann Tiersen Le fabuleux destin d'Amelie Poulain | | 2 | | Dido Life For Rent | | 3 | | Opeth Still Life | |

09.24.09 | The list is some recent digs of mine | Jim
09.24.09 | i can't explain man, maybe it has to be approved or summit
as for the digs, nice one on still life. i haven't listened to it in a while actually, so i should reaquaint myself | eclectic
09.24.09 | I like it more than Blackwater Park actually, kind of odd I know considering how much this site jizzes all over that album, lol. | Jim
09.24.09 | nah i agree. it's a more consistent album, i reckon. | eclectic
09.24.09 | Yeah, true, and I find Akerfeldt's vocals better too, maybe not as refined, but certainly more interesting and likable | Observer
09.24.09 | The reason it won't show up is because a moderator has to appove your first review as a new user.
3 is great. | eclectic
09.24.09 | Ok, it just seemed odd because, like I said, you can go into the "more" tab and view it from there and comment and everything, so why not have it on the front page.
Thanks for the clarification. | Observer
09.24.09 | Oh no problem. One Red review last week took like four days to be cleared by the mods so hopefully yours will be sooner. | FreePizzaDay
09.24.09 | I like Still Life better than BWP, but only marginally so. "The Moor" is such a great way to start off an album. | eclectic
09.24.09 | Bloody hell, that's insane. Surely wouldn't it be smarter to name more people as moderators, to ensure that kind of thing doesn't happen?I respect the fact that you need to make sure they are reliable, but i'll be damned if you can't find a few more worthy candidates amongst our numbers. | eclectic
09.24.09 | @FreePizzaDay: I second that notion of "The Moor" being an awesome way to kick off the album.
