Yotimi
08.20.09 | I'd say the most widely acclaimed albums (both underground indie and mainstream critics) would be:
1. Radiohead - OK Computer
2. Nirvana - Nevermind
3. Beatles - Sgt. Peppers
4. Michael Jackson - Thriller
5. Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon
I think most of these are just acclaimed by underground or indie sites and magazines. |
plank831
08.20.09 | Nirvana's too low.
And, by acclaimed you're meant to mean widely noted as a great album. I've never heard of some of the bands here. And, if its acclaimed you're looking for, you need the classics, Doolittle, Loveless, Velvet Underground n Nico, Revolver, The Dark Side Of The Moon, The Doors, Marquee Moon, etc.

08.20.09 | 10, 13, and 18 have no business being on there. Sign 0 the Times should absolutely be on there, as should In Court of the Crimson King. |
