Life's Weird

i kinda lost it, no answers there
1Counterparts
The Current Will Carry Us

I remember first jamming this while running around campus last year. And it was okay, but when Reflection came and roared out, I began to hear and pick up more with each listen. The album works very well played together, kinda like a 12 step program in 35 odd minutes.
2Envy
All the Footprints You've Ever Left...

I don't know what it means, but fuck that loud soft contrast. Jesus.

I Do Perceive

I reviewed this this year. And it's really the last thing I can remember feeling well enough to finish and write in a critical kinda a way, so do me a favor and perceive.
4Red House Painters
Ocean Beach

I listened to Moments last week, and when Kozelek is talking about laying out in a field and embracing death, I was there. Eerie.
5Marianas Trench
Ever After

This is initially pussy music, I think. But catchy. Catchy. That Call Me Maybe writer producer guy is the dude in here. idk. cred.
6Paul Dempsey
Everything Is True

You know, Bird in a Basement may be one of the best songs of all time.
7Deaf Havana
Fools And Worthless Liars

This is top quality, and I'd like it more if I wasn't fucked in the head and healthy. But if you're 20 and over and like remembering your youth in early 00s or late 90s, hit it up.

Your Starry Eyes Will Never Make Us Even

I like a good modern rock band, and here's a good modern rock band. RIYL: Chevelle, Evans Blue, and Red
9The Twilight Singers
Blackberry Belle

When the first lyrics are, Black out the windows it's party time, you know you have some dark shit. Awesome. RIYL: Third Eye Blind, The National, and... Frightened Rabbit? Sure.
10King Creosote and Jon Hopkins
Diamond Mine
