Favorite Sumerian-core

Favorite Sumerian Record Label albums.
1After the Burial

Incredible. The only band worthy of being called "Meshuggah-inspired." Yet they craft a sound completely
unique in today's metal world. Crushing.
2The Faceless
Planetary Duality

See: all my other lists.
3Veil of Maya
The Common Man's Collapse

This exemplifies the Sumerian-core sound: progressive deathcore with technical flourishes. Strong "djenty"
flavor, with a ton of fun thrown in.
4Upon a Burning Body
The World is Ours

Hahah this album is awesome: this is bro-metal. Oversized machismo from Texas meets Al Pacino and forms an
incredibly enjoyable and well-textured album.
5Asking Alexandria
Stand Up and Scream

Just kidding. These guys are toolbags who are a disgrace to Sumerian Records, let alone metal, LET ALONE music in
Honorable mentions: Born of Osiris (The New Reign), Circle of Contempt (Artifacts in Motion), Conducting from the
Grave (When Legends Become Dust).
