Goblin is inconsistent but it has 1 awesome and 4 great songs.
While college dropout was a highly personal record (and obviously his best), I thought Kanye found a nice niche in pop music when he released Late Reg (he perfected the 'hip-pop-with-a-little-wink-and-also-a-fuck-you-from-me' sound and it was pretty good). Graduation was just kitschy, self-serving bullshit. Just listen to both again i dare you. |
