Tv And Movies Of 2010

Please enjoy my top 10 songs released in 2010. I say 'released' in 2010, because I am excluding "The Boy Who Could Fly," the best song on an album released in 2010, because it was myspace- released in 2009...
1The Jezabels
"Dark Storm"

Scott Pilgrim & Fringe (i just caught up on the latter, and omg omfg omgomg)
2The Receiving End of Sirens
"Weightless Underwater"

I'm assuming that the reason this song isn't on any 2010 lists is that people are angry at what a tease it is to release this now, with no plan to re-unite...
3Black Mountain

Black Swan/The Fighter/Inception/The Social Network (4-way tie... all of them are so excellent, and this year's top 5 films shit on the bottom 5 so profusely that it seems unfair to even fill a list of 10, but i'll try (for you guys)) & Parks & Rec season 2
4Sara Bareilles
"King of Anything"

don't pretend you don't get high off this
5Coheed and Cambria
"The Broken"

pray for it
6Ellie Goulding
"Your Biggest Mistake" or "Salt Skin"

Batman: Under the Red Hood (yes, this is an animated batman movie, and yes I am in my twenties... if you were a kid when comic book cartoons were a bigger deal than comic book movies, you will definitely dig this... even if you weren't-- it's excellent and i think its still on netflix) & Modern Family
7My Chemical Romance
"Na Na Na..."

The Expendables/The Other Guys/The Crazies/Kick-Ass/Easy A (5-way meh fest of good movies that weren't awesome, pick your favorite 4 and round out my top 10 for me...) & Chuck
8Kanye West

this song is incredible, and so it the mini-renaissance that the Simpsons is currently going through... the Microfinance episode, the Moneyball episode, and the Carrier Pigeon episode especially...
9The Used
"The Bird and the Worm (Instrumental)"

this might not belong here since the full track was recorded and released years ago, but the instrumental cut was officially released in 2010, and it's incredible... play it for people who hate on the used and then when they're all liek 'dam that shit is hot' drop some truth on em...
"Love is a Cat from Hell"

This also might not belong here, because I always thought the production was off a bit on this track, but it's still insanely good and actually got me to listen to Illuminaudio when i was planning on skipping it... Runner up songs: "Prince" "Fuck You" "I Don't Care if You're Contagious" "Stereo Love" "The Ballad of Tommy Clayton & The Rawdawg Millionaire" "Beg for Mercy" "Are You Satisfied?" "Obsessions" "You Be Tails, I'll Be Sonic" (ITS A PRETTY NICE LOVE SONG, OK?) "Shouldn't Have Loved" "Light" "The Walk" "S Is for Salamander" "Alejandro (Skrillex Remix)" "Superfast Jellyfish" "Black Heart" "I'm Not a Star" "Black Sheep" "Talkin' 2 Myself" and the first two verses and bridge of "Not Afraid" (right until 'It was my decision to get clean...' after that the song gets a bit retarded) HAPPY NEW YEAR GOLD COBRA 2011!!!!
