RE5 is fun, it just was more of an action game than a survival horror. RE4 walked the line on both almost perfectly while RE5 pretty much dropped all the horror stuff and pretty much went full on action, which was a little disappointing.
Unless I missed it on your list, there is also The Darkside Chronicles on the Wii. It's a rail shooter and a follow up to Umbrella Chronicles. |

The first three are awesome, I haven't played 4 but everyone loves it so yeah, and when you get to 5, try to forget that resident evil is supposed to be a survival horror game and enjoy it for what it is, a sweet action game you need to play with a good friend.
The movies, on the other hand, are pretty bad. If you really want to, watch the first 2. Everything else goes in another stupid direction to the point where it's not resident evil anymore. So yeah, the first two movies are ok, everything else is pretty bad, but amusing to watch. |

Yeah I don't get the blatant hate for 5. Yeah it took a shit on what RE was supposed to be, but it was still a really sweet co-op game. When I see people condemn it to hell, I always wonder whether they played it with somebody, or played it by themselves and realized how stupid Sheva's AI is. I mean, my friend and I spent a whole weekend playing that game and I had loads of fun. |

I honestly thought that Code Veronica was the most challenging RE game, and it had a great story. The only ones that I haven't played are 0 and Operation Raccoon City. Oh yeah, and you must absolutely play the RE Remake for gamecube. That game is fucking freaky as hell. |

10.22.12 | There was horror aspect in 4 and you ran out of ammo in the beginning not so much toward the end, but not having a partner makes all the difference you get health, and ammo from ur partner which takes away a lot of suspense. And 4 has a completely different feel to it oh and 4 is good and 5 is shit, 5 tried to be too epic with that volcano battle and it came off stupid more than epic. The last boss fight for 4 was not over the top at all |
